Cat Ba is the largest island in Ha Long Bay ( over 200 km2 ). It was officially recognized as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in April 2005.

There are many exciting and relaxing things to do on the island such as visiting Cat Ba National Park (which is mountainous and covered in rainforest), the historic Hospital Cave, Trung Trang Grotto, Viet Hai Fishing Village, Cannon Fort, the local market, Lan Ha Bay, Ha Long Bay etc…

TOUR ITINERARY:

- Our bus driver or motorist will pick you up from your hotel to the National Park.

- You will visit a botanical garden and do 30 minutes walk inside Trung Trang Grotto.

- You will trek about 1 hour through the Kim Giao tree forest ( which provides the wood for chopsticks ) and then continuously to a view point on  Ngu Lam Peak ( 225 m high ) at which you can see a breath taking view of valleys through a guard tower, taking mountainous pictures.

- During the trekking, you will be amazed by wild animals such as porcupines, squirrels, frogs, deer, goats, birds, butterflies…

- Come down and return to Cat Ba Town to end the tour
